Mystery and myth: these are the themes for this painting. The mountains, the quality of light, the spiritual “elders” gathered around a bright morning fire before setting off on their journey (bottom left): they all hint that a quest of some kind is underway.

The materials are gift wrap paper and acrylic ink with splashes and drips creating the mood and mystery. I like the tactile qualities of this painting. You can follow the ridge of the mountains with your fingers and wonder about your own majesty and mystery.
